Week two.

Gregory Crewdson

"I work with a production crew that all come out of film. We work with cinematic lighting but we are only after creating one single perfect moment" - Gregory Crewdson.

Gregory Crewdson is an American photographer who's known for his staged, surreal scenes of American homes.
I particularly like Crewdson's work because it has a dream-like feel, the staging, lighting, special effects all contribute to create this look about his photographs.

Untitled, 2001
This is one of my favourite photographs, from a first glance it looks normal but when spending time, concentrating on each set up it is also paranormal.
It is an ordinary American looking house with a woman that looks lifeless floating in a flooded living room.
